From 13 to 15 July 2018, members of the CRUMBEL Team attended the Society for Medieval Archaeology 2018 Annual Conference entitled Grave Concerns: Death, Landscape and Locality in Medieval Society. More information can be found here:

Dries Tys presented a paper on Resilient burial landscapes versus the triumph of Christianisation: continuity and change in the burial landscape of northern Francia in the 7th-11th centuries.

 

Giacomo Capuzzo, Rica Annaert, Sarah Dalle and Christophe Snoeck enjoyed the full immersion into Medieval Archaeology.
