On Monday the 13th of September, the MARI researchers enjoyed a great team building day. As it should, we were close to the sea, exploring first the center of Oostende by walking in the footstepds of James Ensor, the famous Belgian painter. After enjoying this walk, the sight of the sea, and walking bearfoot in the sand, the MARI team enjoyed some good food together. Our afternoon activities really tested our swinging abilities, but fortunately, no one got injured. Drinks in the sun afterwards was a great way of ending a very enjoyable day.
